Argentine Labradors

We think our pups would be right at home roaming the Argentine Pampas, but perhaps it's more about conquering your fears.

Two little pups who spent an evening barking at those weird fluffy things waving in the breeze have managed to pretty much demolish the whole thing.

At first we were concerned.

We have both had more than one nasty cut from Pampas Grass and we were worried that the pups would cut their mouths.

How to pick Pampas Grass

It doesn't seem to bother them and, although we try not to let them chew it, they have become pretty adept at picking the stalks.

The yard, as you can imagine, is a mess!

Normally, some of the Pampas would end up in a large vase in the house and some would be hung to dry then put out for the nesting birds in spring. This year the birds will have to look elsewhere for their nesting material.

  1. These guys are doing what puppies do best...chew. If they were in your house they would chew your furniture and probably end up with the same results.

  2. I have this vivid image of two labradors trashing a pampas grass then looking up all innocent as if to say nothing to do with us. Flighty xx
