After spending two weekends butchering four pigs, we took ourselves off for another weekend in Lake District.
We had all kinds of weather from rain through mist to glorious sunshine.
Meanwhile, back home, all our pork has been frozen or processed. We have made lots of sausages this year, and more bacon. Our final gammons and ham hocks are ready to popped into the freezer and our salamis are hanging. We are doing two air dried hams and they are still in cure at present, but more of all that later.

Aye, you're up in my neck of the woods (well close to where I originated anyway;)) It sounds like you had a pleasant well-deserved rest and are all set up for some delicious meals during the cold winter. Your puppies are growing!
